We are on track with our goals in this area to become debt free by 2016. Our existing debt was accumulated in the purchase of the 5-1/2 acre property where the Elementary campus is located, the construction of the main Elementary building in 1999, and the construction of the Preschool building in 2000. In January of 2001 we instituted a policy of no new debt. This means that we do not begin a new construction project until we have raised the funds to complete it. We are continually humbled and awed at the Lord's constant and faithful provisions to us.

As a Christian ministry, we understand that many of our staff members are here for reasons other than financial. The desire to impact the next generation for the Lord is the common motivating factor of all of the teachers, and they all have wonderful testimonies of how the Lord provides their needs in amazing ways. Having said this, we realize that it is out responsibility as a ministry to offer a fair wage to our teachers, and are committed to working towards raising the base salary to a competitive level. Currently, we have 11 staff members who have been with us over 5 years, 8 staff members who have been with us over 10 years, and 4 staff members who have been with us for over 15 years! This is an amazing testimony of God's faithfulness and a challenge for us to continue to strive to improve in this area.

As the school grows, the need for additional facilities and the need to improve and maintain existing facilities is our 3rd priority. A Field house with bathrooms/shower rooms for our sports teams, an additional preschool building to accommodate the long waitlist of families desiring Christian education for their 3-4 year olds, a soccer field with a proper surface and good drainage, and a Gym/Multi-purpose building are all on the list of projects we would like to complete. Along with these, utility costs are increasing at the elementary campus due to the additional upstairs classrooms, and yard maintenance costs are increasing as we strive to keep our grounds nicely landscaped. At our High school campus, we need to treat the building for termites, upgrade our electrical and septic systems, and continue to maintain the gravel driveways and parking lots. We would also like to hire a full time maintenance person.
